13th Old Town Beer Festival – The Centurion Edition – Thursday 7th to Sunday 11th May 2025 – Why do we need sponsorship?
Even taking the costs of running a festival into consideration, without events like this we can’t cover all of the costs of running Christ Church for the community. Our beer and cider festival is our biggest charity fundraiser of the year with over 1,600 people in attendance over the four days of the festival.
Fundraising is an important part of what we do to ensure that we can break even as an organisation.
Throughout the year we run a number of other events that benefit our community and we have a particular focus around loneliness and mental health as we know that there are a lot of older residents in Old Town. We run weekly afternoon tea sessions, a lunch club, a walking group, and also an event on Christmas day for anyone who is going to be on their own.
As well as supporting ourselves, we have event charities each year. Over the past 12 years we have supported: Ruby’s fat cow fund, Swindon Women’s aid, Christian Aid, Threshold Housing Link, Swindon Food Co-operative, Swindon Sands, Phoenix Enterprise, Swindon Blind Association, Swindon Humanitarian Aid Partnership, the Veterans Charity, Hjalpande Hander, Wiltshire Tree House, Prospect Hospice, and The Kelly Foundation.
This year’s charities are:
Sepsis Research – A charity very poignant for us at the moment due to our vicar Revd Canon Simon Stevenette having contracted the illness at the end of last year. Their mission is to save lives and improve outcomes in sepsis patients through world-leading research and awareness raising You can find out more about Sepsis Research HERE.
Swindon Town Football Club Community Foundation – At the heart of their mission for 2026 is tackling inequalities. They are committed to ensuring that children who currently face financial barriers are not excluded from opportunities to participate in enriching activities such as after-school provision, holiday courses, and community-based programmes. . 1) Bronze package – Advert in programme – £50
What will you get?

Quarter page advert in the festival programme reaching a minimum of 1000 people.
2) Silver package – Advert on the big screen (screen 2.5 x 3.5 metres) – £100
What will you get?

One PowerPoint slide on the big screen. The screen will rotate continuously through each slide throughout the duration of the festival (Friday 6-11pm, Saturday 12noon-10pm & Sunday 6-8pm). Approx 100 slides in total will rotate every 45 seconds for the duration of the event.
3) Gold package – Sponsor a barrel – £200
What will you get?

Name of business in the festival programme against the beer/ cider that you choose to sponsor.

Company name on front of sponsored barrel.

Half page advert in the festival programme.

Invitation for up to two members of your business to come along to the Friday night of the event for free drinks at the festival (to include a free festival glass).
4) Platinum package – Main event sponsor – £1000 for one sponsor or 2 sponsors at £500 each – SOLD OUT
What will you get?

Event officially sponsored by recognition.

Full page spread in festival programme.

4 x power point slides on the big screen

Business details on all event promotional literature (including posters, tickets, website and in local press)

Invitation for up to five members of your business to come along to the exclusive sponsors event for an advance trial of the beers on the evening before the festival (to include a free festival glass)

Tickets for 4 members of your business to attend all other days of the festival

Advertising boards/ information to be displayed at the venue (sponsor to provide)
5) Token sponsor – £400 for one sponsor or 2 sponsors at £200 each
What will you get?

Logo will be put on all cash tokens – This will be distributed approximately 3000 times.

6) Glass Sponsor opportunities
Thursday – £300 – SOLD OUT
Friday – £350 – SOLD OUT
Saturday day – £750 for one sponsor or two sponsors at £375 each – AVAILABLE
Saturday eve – £300 – SOLD OUT
What will you get?
• Logo on all glasses related to specific sponsored day of the festival
• Invitation for up to two members of your business to come along to the Friday night of the event for free drinks at the festival (to include a free festival glass)
7) T-shirt sponsor – £250 per sponsor (max 6 on back)
We are producing new staff/ volunteer t-shirts for the event and need help towards the cost of these.
What will you get?
• Your logo on the back to be used for at least the next 3 festivals.
• Invitation for up to two members of your business to come along to the Friday night of the event for free drinks at the festival (to include a free festival glass)
8) Saturday live music sponsor – £500 for one sponsor or 2 sponsors at £250 each
We will again be supporting local musicians and hosting live music again. We are looking for someone or more than one person to sponsor our musicians at the event. Band/s to be confirmed.
What will you get?
• Tickets to one session of the event (your choice), including free drinks for up to 4 people (to include a festival glass to keep).
• Logo on all literature specific to this day of the event (to be provided by sponsor).
• Plus perks of gold & silver package
9) Sunday evening sponsor – £250 for one sponsor or two sponsors at £125 each
We will be hosting an evening of Rock & Hymn bingo. Basically, eyes down and cross of the well known church songs as they come up.
• Tickets to one session of the event (your choice), including free drinks for up to 4 people (to include a festival glass to keep).
• Logo on all literature specific to this day of the event (to be provided by sponsor).
• Plus perks of gold
10) Comedy sponsor – £500 for one sponsor or two sponsors at £250 each
After the success of last year we are running another comedy evening in partnership with Swindon Old Town Comedy club. We are looking for someone or more than one person to sponsor our comedians at the event.
What will you get?
• Tickets to one session of the event (your choice), including free drinks for up to 4 people (to include a festival glass to keep).
• Logo on all literature specific to this day of the event (to be provided by sponsor).
• Plus perks of gold & silver package
11) Brew and a Book sponsor (The Art of Science of Pairing Beer & Music event) – £250 for one sponsor or 2 sponsors at £125 each
In partnership with the Swindon Festival of literature we will be hosting a talk and sampling session with award winning beer writer Pete Brown.
What will you get?
• Tickets to one session of the event (your choice), including free drinks for up to 2 people (to include a festival glass to keep).
• Logo on all literature specific to this day of the event (to be provided by sponsor).
• Plus perks of gold package
